This is a request for DASHCAM and BWC video for the first two squads on scene and any subsequent BWC video related to the arrest of the primary suspect in this matter. (As a formality, this request is being made under open records statutes governing this data.)

Please also include the police report from the primary officer or the probable cause statement. You can exclude any PII. The narrative is the most important part.

Description: Kenneth Mecenas, a 25-year-old Illinois man, was charged with DUI after crashing his vehicle on Highway 35 in Holmdel. The crash hospitalized four people, with one passenger, Garret Harper, being ejected from the vehicle and thrown onto the highway. Mecenas’ vehicle struck a utility pole before coming to rest on the road.
