This Office received your OPRA request on Friday, 10/4/2024.  As you may
be aware, P.L. 2024 c. 16 became effective 9/3/2024.  As such, the County
of Ocean has updated the OPRA Request form which can be located online at

This new legislation requires a requestor to certify to the following
items prior to a request being processed:

 

Under penalty of N.J.S.A. 2C:28-3, I certify that:

 

1. I HAVE / HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the
laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States;

2. I, or another person, WILL / WILL NOT use the requested government
records for a commercial purpose; and

3. I AM / AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

 

Kindly submit your certifications to this Office by close of business on
Wednesday, 10/9/2024 so that we may proceed accordingly or this request
will be considered withdrawn and closed.
