Ms. Paulus, I believe the only part of the information you were missing was the associated costs.. It is hard to determine the percentage of the day that one spends on the abandoned and vacant properties.
In 2016 we had One (1) inspector
Two part time clerical staff - myself and one full time staff member - none of which devoted 100% daily just doing that.
The inspector makes approx. 75,000 a year
One part time clerk was making $15.50 / hour with a 15 hour a week schedule
My part time clerk was making 17.55 an hour w 25 hours a week schedule - at one point I had two but it was only two months and ( they overlapped an hour)
My office full time staff is at $55,500 yearly - again not devoting many hours
Myself $ 98,000 also not devoting all my time, I can't even tell you an average of anyone's hours for the abandoned vacant property. But, my part time staff member - knows it well and she is great at the recovery, but I can't tell you if some days that is all she does or doesn’t do because the office is hopping with much variety of work.
