Dear Marlboro Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

1. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(f), your request is denied. This
is a commercial request and you failed to acknowledge that your
request for information would be used for commercial purposes.
Commerc ial requests are defined as the direct or indirect use of
any part of a government record for sale, resale, solicitation,
rent, or lease of a service, or any use by which the user expects
a profit through either commission, salary, or fee. Failure to
certify subject to civil penalty of $1,000 1st offense, $2,500 2nd
offense, and $5,000 each subsequent offense.

2. OPRA is a request for identifiable documents, not for asking
questions. Your request is denied as it does not name specifically
identifiable records and is overly broad, pursuant to the
following court decisions: MAG Entertainment, LLC v. Division of
Alcoholic Beverage Control, 375 N.J.Super. 534 (App. Div. 2005),
Bent v. Stafford Police
