This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

1) All abandoned/vacant residential properties (Property Class 2)
2) All condemned properties
3) All residential properties with delinquent taxes
4) All residential properties for which a Lis Pendens notice has been filed or that are currently in probate

The Township of Bloomfield received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
Request on July 28, 2022.  As such, the seven (7) business day deadline to
respond to your request is August 8, 2022.  This response to your request
is being provided to you on the 6^th business day after the Township’s
receipt of said request.

 

The following records are being provided in their entirety and are the
ONLY documents in the Township’s possession responsive to your request:

 

1.       From the Township’s Fire Department:  Vacant Property List.      

2.       From the Township’s Finance Department:  Delinquent Tax List

3.       From the Township’s Finance Department:  No documents responsive
to request #4.

4.       From the Township’s Health Department:  Excel Document

 If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfulfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the Township of Bloomfield to deny
access.  At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the
Superior Court of New Jersey, or file a complaint with the Government
Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.
