This email confirms that as the district’s official Custodian of Records,
I received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request via email on
Wednesday, October 2, 2019.
In accordance with the law, I have seven (7) business days to either
provide the information requested or a valid reason why the information
requested cannot be provided. The seventh (7th) business day deadline to
respond to your request is Friday, October 11, 2019.

Regarding your OPRA Request received by me on Wednesday, October 2, 2019
requesting "the list you showed me in your office of all employees and the
amount of sick days they have accrued", please find attached to this email
the following records:
• 1 PDF entitled, "PTO Balances as of 6.30.19"
Regarding these records, I am obligated to remind you that:
• The report is dated June 30, 2019, which is the most recent report
date available. Therefore, the information contained therein has
already changed, and will continue to change with the passage of time.
• According the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the
district has no monetary obligation for accrued sick days unless/until
a "full time" employee retires. In addition, certain full time
employees are limited by statute on the amount of sick leave to which
they are entitled. None of that is, or is even able to be reflected in
the report.
These records are deemed to be responsive to your request, and are being
transmitted to you via email PDF. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5.b., the
cost associated with this request is $0.
