Thank you for your interest in open public records of Jersey City OPRA
Center.  This will serve to acknowledge receipt of your Open Public
Records Act (OPRA) request.  Your request was received in this office on
9/9/2024.  Kindly refer to the reference number E003857-090924 when
communicating with our office in this regard.  Your request mentioned:

OPRA request - Unedited body cam footage & cop vehicle transportation
footage too and from the hospital Dear Jersey City, Please accept this
electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common
law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or
use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA
47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all
of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place
of a completed form as a valid government record request. I HAVE been
convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any
other state, or the United States. I WILL NOT use the requested
government records for a commercial purpose. I AM seeking records in
connection with a legal proceeding. Records requested: I am requesting
the unedited body cam footage of my arrest on 9/1/2024 around 8:30 pm
from officer G. Full badge number 3521 & officer C. Fontanez 3273 and
the body cam footage of every officer involved in the incident
including Sargent O. Badaw. I am also requesting the police car
footage being transported to and from the hospitals twice. I am also
requesting the bond company information of every officer involved. My
preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail
as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you
are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that
person and provide their email address to me for future reference.
