Records requested:

1. Municipal funds allotted yearly to Union City's Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program.
2. When was the TNR program first implemented?
3. To date, how many cats have been sterilized and vaccinated through Union City's TNR program?
4. Does the program have a dedicated veterinarian? How many cats are sterilized/vaccinated by the Union City TNR program per week through the veterinarian?
5. How are the cats trapped and transported to the spay/neuter facility?
6. How many unfulfilled requests for TNR (i.e. per cat) through Union City's TNR program are outstanding as of December 31, 2022?
7. How many residents have requested appointments and are on a wait list or equivalent as of December 31, 2022?
8. If Union City's TNR program expends the allotted annual funds prior to the end of the fiscal year, will additional funds be allotted?
9. Where are the policies established by the Feral Cats Advisory Committee referenced in Chapter 4 Article XVI Section 4-94 of the Union City code?

Dear Union City,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Open Public Records Act reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Union City's handling of my OPRA request 'TNR Program'.

Kathy Gabrielescu and I have attempted to obtain information in this request by both telephone calls and e-mails and have received no response except an indication that someone would look into the request over a month ago.
While I am aware that Union City has a form that they attempt to mandate for OPRA requests, these are not required by law. By law, under all circumstances, Union City should have responded by January 12, 2023.
