Dear New Jersey State League of Municipalities,

I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:

Dear Michael F. Cerra,

Thank you for fulfilling my request so quickly - much appreciated! Having just started looking through the document, I have two questions for you:

1. There seems to be an extraordinarily high use of what I’m assuming are placeholder text values for seemingly most of the email addresses, both of the municipality records and for the League itself, as delivered. Is this something I am not understanding the valid reasoning behind or could this potentially be a draft version sent over?
2. How should data updates and corrections be reported to the League if identified?

Thanks again,
Tyler M Neher

Michael F. Cerra,

Good morning,
Regarding the 2025 Directory, I'm afraid I don't understand your question regarding placeholder text values. Email addresses are listed as provided, so can you provide me an example of what you're asking about?

As for changes and corrections, we do not re-publish the Directory so in a sense, it could be technically out-of-date very quickly. In the past, when there's been a significant number of updates or corrections early, we'll run that in the League magazine and/or website. I don't know if that will be necessary yet.

Mike
