Tax Appeal Data
Dear Union County,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

A. Tax-appeal judgments — Township of Clark, tax years 2005–2025
1. The Board's judgment lists / memoranda of judgment for petitions of appeal concerning properties in the Township of Clark, for tax years 2005 through 2025. I'm looking for the record showing, for each appeal: petitioner, block/lot, original assessment, judgment (assessment as affirmed or reduced), and disposition.
2. If the Board maintains an electronic export or log of appeals filed for those years the same export for tax years 2005 through 2025.

Dear Mr. Greaves,
This email is a formal and complete response to your July 16, 2026, OPRA
request for Tax Appeal Judgments – Township of Clark, Tx years 2005-2025.
Please be advised that fulfilling your request will require an extensive
search and review of records, including a review for any applicable
redactions. We estimate that approximately 6 hours will be required to
process your request. In accordance with N.J.S.A. 47: 1A-5c, a special
service charge will apply to process this request. At the hourly rate of a
Keyboarding Clerk 1 ($33.97), the approximate special service charge is
$203.82. Dedicating approximately 1 hour per day to this task so as not to
disrupt office operations, processing will take an estimated 4 business
days.
Please note that the County has made every effort to ensure that the
employees assigned to this task have been identified as the minimum
personnel necessary to properly and effectively process this request, in
terms of both the total number of hours and in hourly wage. Upon receipt
of the special service fee—payable to the County of Union—the request will
be processed. Please note that the above hours and charges are only an
estimate, and you will only be charged for the number of hours actually
expended to process your request. (The service charge doesn’t include the
statutory per-page copying charge, should you wish to buy paper copies of
the documents.) If the total review time exceeds the estimate, an
additional charge may apply. If the total review time is less than
estimated, a refund for the difference will be issued.
