Ridgewood Public Schools received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request on March 30, 2021. As the official Records Custodian, I received your OPRA request on March 30, 2021. As such, the seven (7) business day deadline to respond to your request is April 9, 2021. This response to your request is being provided to you on the 3rd business day after the custodian’s receipt of said request.

The following records are being provided in their entirety as required by law and are responsive to your request.

1. Electronic copies of a specific communication and document(s) attached to another specific communication, both identified on page 31 of the reply to the March 16, 2021, OPRA request for electronic copies of all emails to and from Lisa Kontos with the subject line "Please Help!" and /or "Re: Please Help!" from July 20, 2020 through July 29, 2020). Specifically, I am asking for the email identified as, "On July 22, 2020, at 8:15 PM, Brennan Heffernan wrote". The actual communication was missing from the response.

2. I am also requesting the attachment referred to in the body of the email communication immediately following, sent on July 23, 2020 at 8:58:15 PM from Brennan Heffernan to Lisa Kontos and copied to many others. In part, the email reads, "I've attached to this email a document that has a usable template for communications with the BOE members as well as some talking points to use during the BOE meeting (either by calling or using the live feedback form)."

As such, the seven (7) business day deadline to respond to your request is April 14th. This response to your request is being provided to you on the [1st] business day after the custodian’s receipt of said request.

Your OPRA request sought access to the following:

In the case of the communication identified in request #1 as: "On July 22, 2020, at 8:15 PM, Brennan Heffernan wrote", there was a ">" under that, but no actual communication. There is a reply to the missing communication from Lisa Kontos. These are clear indicators that something is missing from the documents you provided.

I asked for the communication from Brennan Heffernan that Ms. Kontos was replying to on July 22, 2020 at 10:59 PM when she wrote, "Thank you Brennan!". Please provide that.

Please note that the information that you are requesting has already been provided (refer to pages 29 and 30 of Google Vault - Please Help!_Redacted.pdf for the email from Brennan Heffernan that was sent on July 22, 2020, at 8:15 PM).
