Under the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I am submitting a formal request for records related to special education services and student outcomes within the Pinelands Regional School District for the past 1 to 3 school years.
Please provide the following information, in aggregate or de-identified form:

A list or description of all special education programs serving lower-level learners, including but not limited to self-contained classrooms, Compass Program, Adaptive Success, in-class support, resource centers, or any other specialized programs.

The number of classrooms assigned to each of these programs at both the middle school and high school levels.

The average number of students per classroom in these programs.

The standard staffing ratios, including teacher and paraprofessional assignments, for each program type.

Aggregated academic growth data for special education students receiving intensive supports, including progress on IEP goals, reading and math scale score gains, or Student Growth Percentiles (SGPs), if applicable.

Data showing how many students have transitioned from less restrictive environments selcontained to a resource or general education with supports, and how many have been declassified from special education.

For each of the past 1 to 3 graduating classes, please provide data showing how many students with IEPs graduated and how many subsequently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college, trade or vocational school, entered supported employment, or participated in other post-secondary transition programs.

This request is limited to aggregate or de-identified information and does not include any personally identifiable student or staff data.
Please inform me of any fees or clarifications needed to process this request. I prefer to receive records electronically if possible.

Thank you for your response. I’m clarifying that I am requesting records from the two most recently completed school years, including the most recent academic year.
If possible, I would prefer the information be provided electronically and in summary or report form, as is typical with existing program and enrollment data.
This request is being made in support of my children’s educational planning and placement. I appreciate your timely attention in providing the records as outlined under the Open Public Records Act.
