Dear Custodian of Records,

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.), please provide copies of the following public records in the possession, custody, or control of Freehold Township (including but not limited to the Freehold Township Health Department, Code Enforcement, and Police Department):

**Item 1: Equipment Calibration and Maintenance Logs**

Any and all records regarding the inventory, calibration, and technical compliance of all sound level meters (SLMs) and acoustical calibrators utilized by Freehold Township personnel for noise code enforcement or sound monitoring during the month of June 2026. This request specifically includes, but is not limited to:

* Manufacturer laboratory calibration certificates demonstrating the equipment is compliant within the mandatory 24-month recertification cycle.
* Daily, on-site field calibration logs, field check data sheets, and pre-/post-monitoring measurement records for equipment deployed during the month of June 2026.

**Item 2: Officer Technical Noise Certifications**

Any and all records demonstrating the current professional credentials, course completions, and active regulatory certifications for all Freehold Township officers, inspectors, or personnel authorized to perform community noise enforcement under N.J.A.C. 7:29. This includes official certification cards, certificates of completion from the Rutgers Air Noise Training Program (or an equivalent NJDEP-approved certification body), and active recertification records.

**Item 3: ParkStage Concert Specific Monitoring Logs and Officer Assignments**

Any and all sound monitoring records, official field logs, data readouts, and personnel assignment rosters generated during the specific dates and hours of the "ParkStage" concert series at the East Freehold Showgrounds (1500 Kozloski Rd) listed below:

June 2, 2026, through June 3, 2026 (Hours: 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM each day)
June 18, 2026, through June 21, 2026 (Hours: 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM each day)

This item specifically requests records identifying:

1. The specific physical, geographical locations (including addresses, property boundary markers, or GPS/cross-street coordinates) where sound level meters were positioned by Township personnel to take measurements.
2. The names and specific Rutgers/NJDEP noise enforcement certification numbers of each individual Township officer or inspector assigned to monitor, calibrate, or operate the sound equipment during those designated dates and times.
3. All field notes, measurement data sheets, weather/wind velocity observations, and maximum/ambient decibel (dBA/dBC) level readings logged during these specific timeframes.
