The Township of Livingston Clerk's Department is in receipt of your OPRA request. Pursuant to NJSA 47:1A-5(i), you shall receive a response in no more than seven (7) business days, with day one starting the day after the request has been received. (Holidays and Townhall closings do not count as business days).
Dear Concerned Livingston Residents,
Your OPRA and Common Law request received September 11, 2023 for "please
provide in PDF format any communication received by any member of the Town
Council or any Town employee that reference “Maura Mullaney” between the
dates May 25, 2023 and September 11, 2023" will require an extension on or
before October 4, 2023 due to a review of possible responsive records by
Township Counsel.
The Clerks Department also received your second OPRA / Common Law request
on September 18, 2023 that requests the same information but in a narrower
time frame of May 25, 2023 to June 1, 2023, please be advised that we
expect to have a response to you on or before October 4, 2023 also.
The letter submitted by Maura Mullaney and her father cannot be released
as it is exempt pursuant to Executive Order No. 26 which exempts records
from disclosure under OPRA that relate to internal Complaints of
Discrimination, Harassment or Hostile Environment as well as Ms.
Mullaney's reasonable expectation of privacy pursuant to NJSA 47:1A-1.
