Subject: Lumberton BOE OPRA Request

Mr. Paff,
As you may be aware, this firm represents the Lumberton School District. Mr. Delengowski has been serving in the position of Acting Business Administrator, however, that term is coming to a conclusion and he asked me to reach out to you directly regarding your OPRA request.
Lumberton Township BOE received your OPRA and common law request for the settlement agreement in Ortutay v. Lumberton School District (BUR-L-2593-19). Although the court system marked the case settled, the parties continue to work on the settlement agreement and the document has not yet been put before the court for approval. The delay is not caused by the District as the other party is working with a trust attorney as part of the settlement proposal. The District will release the document to you as soon as it is finalized and put before the court. Therefore, your present request is denied because no document exists but the District is hopeful that a document will be finalized with the Court within 45 to 60 days and invites you to make a new request at that time.
Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
Thanks,
George Morris
