Seeking records and information for Lindenwold Public Library
Dear Lindenwold Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Personnel file documentation establishing the original date of hire for Brenda Roach in the position of Library Supervisor (or any prior title held in connection to the Lindenwold public library), and any documentation of the recruitment or appointment process for that position at the time of original hire.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.
Yours faithfully,
Moonsrayven

Dear CLERK,
I am in receipt of your second extension notice dated July 24, 2026, requesting an extension of the deadline for OPRA Request #289-2026 to September 30, 2026.
A 100-day cumulative delay for personnel documentation establishing the date of hire and appointment process for a single position is unreasonable. It may constitute a constructive denial of access under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(i).
To narrow this request and remove any basis for further delay, I am requesting the following in place of the original request:
The date of original hire, all job title(s) held (with effective dates of any title changes), and the resolution, personnel action form, or other document reflecting the Borough's appointment of Brenda Roach to her position for the employee record known as Brenda Roach. This request is limited to the categories made public under N.J.S.A. 47:1A-10 (name, title, payroll record, length of service) and to appointment/recruitment records, and does not seek confidential personnel-file content.
If any portion of this request is denied or if any portion of these records is deemed exempt, please provide the remaining non-exempt portions with appropriate redactions along with a specific statutory explanation for each redaction or denial. If no such records exist, please state that in writing rather than denying the request.
Yours sincerely,
Moonsrayven
