Rowan University is in receipt of your January 21, 2025, OPRA request (below). Please be advised that New Jersey recently amended OPRA to include mandatory certifications to be answered by requesters. The new form which includes the updated certifications can be found at https://sites.rowan.edu/procurement/opra.... I also attached a copy of the new form for your convenience. Requestors are not required to use this OPRA request form; however, a written equivalent not containing the form requirements of N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(f) and N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(g) may be denied by a custodian. The certifications are as follows:

Under penalty of N.J.S.A. 2C:28-3, I certify that:
1. I HAVE / HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States;
2. I, or another person, WILL / WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose; and
3. I AM / AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding

Without the above, Rowan cannot provide you with the requested documents and the response time is suspended.

Please feel free to submit a new request by filling out the updated form. Or, you can follow the format in your initial request with the above issues addressed.
