This email is a petition challenge request regarding the eligibility of Cathryn Browning for the Northern Burlington BOE seat from Springfield Township.
As per the School Ethics Commission (SEC) Advisory Opinion A11-13, Ms. Browning is ineligible to take this seat as she's employed by Springfield Township Elementary, and a shared services agreement exists between Northern Burlington & Springfield. As this
is a conflict of interest and prohibited under N.J.S.A. 18A:12-24(c), Ms. Browning would not be allowed to serve. I'm asking your office to remove her from the ballot.

Additionally, in the copy of the petition I received from my OPRA request this week, Ms. Browning did not submit the Circulator page for her petition. This is a defect in her filing that would also serve to remove her from the ballot if not corrected.
