Dear South Plainfield Borough,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message. Records requested:
1) The name, title, department/division, current salary, stipend, and hire date for all salaried employees as of January 1, 2021.
2) The name, title, department/division, current hourly rate, and hire date for all hourly employees as of January 1, 2021.
3) The names of all employees currently enrolled in each healthcare insurance program/plan.
4) The names of all employees currently enrolled in each public pension system.
5) The names and pay status for each employee currently suspended from duty.
6) The total 2020 base pay, overtime pay, and extra-duty pay for each employee.

Our payroll specialist advised that they did address your request in full. Item's #1-4 were addressed in one attachment and Item #6 was addressed in the other attachment. Item #5 was answered in the body of the email advising you that we have no employees suspended from duty. If you still feel like you are missing something, please be specific and advise accordingly, we are always happy to help.

Our payroll specialist has reviewed your request multiple times. We have provided you with exactly what you are seeking. As per your email below, "the first page of each document is the same for the rest of the pages attached". This is not true. Each page reflects different employees and their respective data. Your items requested in #1-4 are incorporated on this all-inclusive report. Each page is a continuation from where the prior page left off totaling 4 pages. You have names, titles, departments, stipends, hire dates, salaries for employees, hourly rates for employees, employees enrolled in healthcare and pension. Based upon the manner in which you asked for said public records, we have fulfilled your request for items #1 through 4. As to your item #5, we have informed you that we do not have any employee(s) suspended from duty therefore, we have no such record responsive to your request. Your item #6 asked for "the total 2020 base pay, OT, and extra duty pay". Again that is provided to you in full on the other 4 attached pages. Based upon the manner in which you asked for said public records, we have fulfilled your request for item #6.
To conclude, these are the reports we have in accordance with N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. that exist and are required to be maintained on file in the course of official business. There are no other payroll reports that exist that are responsive to your request.
