To the Records Custodian:

I reside in Washington Township Gloucester County. I submit herein this request for records pursuant to the Open Public Records Act and Common Law Right of Access. Reports on file with the Election Law Enforcement Commission show your entity has or had a business relationship with Remington and Vernick Engineers (RVE). Owing to the investigation of RVE by the FBI, I investigated political donations to Washington Township politicians and contracts given to RVE.

Based on the foregoing, I respectfully request, under the Open Public Records Act and/or Common Law Right of Access, the following records:

1. Contracts between your entity and RVE 2013-present
2. Invoices for services provided by RVE, including the name of the RVE employee(s) providing the services 2013-present.
3. A roster of elected officials who have served the entity 2013-present

OPRA requests must be for a specific public document and should list a
specific date or dates. OPRA requests with terms "any and all", requests
for information, requests that require research into documents, or
requests that require the Clerk's office to create a document shall be
rejected.

Mr. McBride:
My apologies for not reaching out sooner. Our office has been out all last week due to possible COVID. We were not allowed back into the office until a negative test came back. I was to be there today but cannot get there due to the weather. Can you provide me with a phone number so that I can reach out to you? We will need extended time to complete this due to current staffing issues across my office and the Finance office.

I have reached out to you to let you know the status of this OPRA. I have requested that you provide me with a number where I can call you regarding this.
1. Contracts between your entity and RVE from 2013-present - we are working on this
2. Invoices for services provided by RVE, including the name of the RVE employee(s) providing the services 2013-present - this is a huge project and we are working on this and will feed you sections at a time.
3. A roster of elected officials who have served the entity 2013-present
I have no 'roster' but I have attached our directories from 2013 to present which should serve as the same purpose.

Again, I would like to discuss the status of this project at your convenience.

Dear OPRA,

I impose a "special service charge" of $80 per hour to records custodians who request to speak over the telephone without first stating in writing what needs clarifying. There is no purpose to having a meeting without an agenda. Please specify in writing what needs clarification and I will be happy to speak with you for free.
