Dear New Jersey Department of Transportation,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

All daily inspection reports (Form DC-29/DC-144), monthly contractor payment applications, project schedule updates showing planned vs. actual milestone completion, lane closure permits and durations, and any change orders related to NJDOT Project: Route 18 East Brunswick Drainage and Pavement Rehabilitation (milepost 35.40 to 39.54), contract awarded to Earle Asphalt Company, June 2022, for the period January 2023 to present

Upon further review, this request is being denied on the basis that it is
improper and over broad under the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) as per
the attached official Closure Receipt. We require information to be more
specific in order to identify the records you are seeking.
A custodian shall not be required to complete a request, including for,
but not limited to, mail, email, text messages, correspondence, or social
media postings and messages, if the request does not identify a specific
job title or accounts to be searched, a specific subject matter, and is
not confined to a reasonable time period, or if the custodian determines
that the request would require research and the collection of information
