Any and all documents and/or minutes from any meeting that were approved, presented or discussed at the April 17, 2024 meeting either in open or closed session, related to or questioning that Commissioner Robert Krohn was a resident of Toms River, NJ for at least 1 year prior to his election this year and/or his eligibility to remain in said Commissioner position.

The Toms River Fire District No. 1 Board of Commissioners (hereinafter “Board” or “Commissioners”) are in receipt of your ORPA request, which seeks the executive session minutes from the Board’s April 3, 2024 meeting.
Attached please find a copy of the redacted meeting minutes. The sole redaction is based on attorney-client privilege, where the attorney was explaining and preparing the Board for potential litigation. See N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1; see also Fisher v. New Jersey Institute of Technology, GRC Complaint No. 2002-35 (finding that Custodian properly redacted small portion of government record as it contained information from the Custodian’s attorney that were intended to assist the public entity to determine the direction of potential litigation).
