Our office is in receipt of your OPRA request dated November 1st^th,
2020.  This request was received by the Township on November 1st and
forwarded to our department on November 2^nd.  As such the seven business
days to respond is November 11^th, 2020. 

You have requested the following: 

Arrest reports, criminal complaints, investigation records, CAD details,
body worn camera footage, audio/video of interviews, transcripts of
interviews, defendant statements, witness statements, victim statements,
relating to the arrest of Richard Decker for various crimes in or around
July and October 2019. 

The following is the Police Department’s response in regard to your
request:   

 1. You will find the arrest reports and CAD reports attached to this
email.   These documents have been redacted to shield personal
information and preserve citizens’ expectation of privacy. See Burnett
v. County of Bergen, 198 N.J. 408 (2009). 
 2. The investigation reports, audio/video of interviews,
defendant/witness/victim statements are exempt from disclosure under
criminal investigatory records.  See N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.1. 
 3. The body worn camera footage and transcripts of interviews have no
records responsive.    

With the receipt of this email and attached document, your OPRA request
has been deemed complete by the Police Department on November 3rd, 2020.
