To whom it may concern,
I am writing regarding your OPRA request received on 5/6/26 at 11:13PM,
seeking text messages containing specific key works between certain Board
of Education members and the Superintendent. Pursuant to NJSA 47:1A-5(i),
the District requires an extension of time to respond to this request.
The extension is necessary because the request requires the retrieval of
electronic communication from multiple distinct electronic devices held by
various individuals. Once the records are collected, the records
custodian must conduct a careful, line-by-line review to ensure responsive
information is provided while appropriately redacting non-public,
personal, or privileged information as required by law. We anticipate
providing a full response, on or before June 2, 2026.
Thank you for your attention to this matter
Kevin Lomski
The district has performed a good faith search and is providing the
following attachments as responsive documents to your request. Please
consider this request closed.
Thank you,
Kevin
