Retrieval of JOUAM Relics and Documents
Dear Elmwood Park Borough,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
Collection of relics, financial records, VHS tapes, and books retrieved from Junior Order of United American Mechanics (JOUAM) in Elmwood Park including: "Hate Laws," a hardcover book by David Duke, and a copy of "The Thinking Man's Guide to Adolf Hitler”. From October 2006 to December 2007.
Police reports, news stories, congressional hearing reports, or newspaper articles documenting the following:
Saddle River Council 317 JOUAM council member expulsion of Richard Lindstrom and other members of Neo-Nazi group for insubordination in releasing documentation of other members in October 2006 - July 2007.
Bomb threat sent through a pay phone to the National Alliance, Constitutionalists, and/or National Vanguard white supremacy groups meeting in the JOUAM in 2002.
The appearance of Louisiana Congressman David Duke during his presidential election of 1988 and William Pierce visiting JOUAM in 1980 -1999.
