Response protocols for Neptune Fire District
Dear Neptune Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
Documentation pertaining to but not limited to the procedures by which the Neptune Township Fire District's response protocols when requested/dispatched.
SOPs/SOGs etc. pertaining to the response protocols as to when apparatus/personnel are requested for mutual aid assistance outside of the Township of Neptune.
Communications surrounding the denial of a response of the Neptune Township Fire District on duty paid division personnel to a fire scene in the City of Asbury Park on 12/29/21 including documentation supporting this decision to not send readily available personnel to assist at an active fire scene.

The Neptune Fire District #1 is in receipt of your Records Request regarding the Dispatch Protocol for our Paid Division Firefighters responding out of town to fire calls. Attached are the memos sent to the Paid Division regarding this (one from 2007 and one from 2021). Also attached is a copy of the letter to Asbury Park Fire Department notifying them that our Paid Employees will not be responding for mutual aid to their town.
