This OPRA seeks responsive documents for topics related to Resolution 25-53, Award Contract for Professional Borough Law Enforcement Labor Attorney Services for 2025.

-Records requested: any copies of listings, postings, announcements made in newspapers, social media, and/or the internet, notifying the public that requests for qualifications were being solicited during November 2024 for a borough law enforcement labor attorney for Pompton Lakes.

-Responsive documents such as emails or noted discussions between any borough employees and/or the borough council, on why requests for qualifications were being solicited in the end 2024 when Pompton Lakes had been using and been billed by Apruzzese, McDermott, Mastro & Murphy, P.C. (referred to in the 25-53 resolution as “Arthur Thibault, Appruzzese, McDermott, Mastro & Murphy”) since 2019.
