Dear Ship Bottom Borough,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Open Public Records Act reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Ship Bottom Borough's handling of my OPRA request 'Request to receive any complaints received about zoning or any other violations for my property'.

On May 7, 2020, I sent a request to receive any complaints received about zoning or any other violation for my property located at 301 West 18th St., Ship Bottom, NJ Block 60 Lot 18. I stated that I expected to receive an answer in 10 days.

On May 7, 2020, I received an auto response from Kathleen Wells who was employed at Ship Bottom but states her last day of work was Sept 17, 2019.

I contacted Opra again on May 7, 2019 and they confirmed that they sent my request to another responsible person in SHip Bottom.

As of today May 18, 2020, I still have not received a response to my request for the information stated above.

Dear Kristy Davis,

Thank you for you time to speak the other day and confirmation that no complaints have been filed for my residence.

Susan kowalski from your office called me today about a violation at my residence. She confirmed she has not been in my home. She told me that no complaint was received but that she saw an old picture of my house on the internet listing for the sale of my deceased fathers home and that that was the basis for issuing a violation to me. I told her that I had spoken with Bob at the Boro hall at the time my father died and was instructed to remove a toilet which I did.

Can someone confirm on Opra that this is the basis of her issuing a violation and then calling me today about this violation?
