Request for Vacant/Abandoned, Delinquent and Various Other Properties
Dear Pitman Borough,
I appreciate your consideration of the following matter. Under OPRA and the Common Law Right of Access, I am requesting a current list of records for each of the following be delivered via e-mail:
1) All abandoned/vacant residential properties (Property Class 2)
2) All condemned properties
3) All residential properties with delinquent taxes
4) All residential properties for which a Lis Pendens notice has been filed or that are currently in probate
5) All properties that are absentee-owned
6) All properties with delinquent water and sewer which date back up to 1 year, including amounts owed
7) All properties currently listed with water shut-off notice
8) All properties with code violations, including the type of violation
9) All properties with notices of abatement

In response to the OPRA Request submitted to the Borough of Pitman on July
3, 2020 you will find attached a listing of all residential properties
with delinquent taxes (#3 on the request).
4. The Borough of Pitman has no properties for which a Lis Pendens notice
was filed or is currently in probate.
9. Please contact the Gloucester County Tax Assessor’s Office for
information on Borough properties with Notices of Abatement. We do not
maintain those records as we are part of a shared service for tax
assessment with the County of Gloucester.

Good Morning,
In response to the Open Public Records Request submitted to the Borough of Pitman on July 3, 2020, you will find attached information which was requested on numbers 6 and 7 on the email.
6. The first two pages of the attachment contains a listing of all properties with open balances. The time frame is from July 7, 2019 - July 7, 2020.
7. The remainder of the pages lists properties that are currently flagged as "water off" for a variety of reasons. However, at this time there are no active notices of water shut-offs as the Governor of New Jersey has suspended water shut-offs due to the COVID- 19 emergency.
Additional information requested will be sent to you in future emails as it is processed through the individual departments.

Attached please find information being provided in response to an OPRA request submitted to the Borough of Pitman on July 3, 2020.
1. List of vacant/abandoned residential properties - Attached
2. There are no condemned properties in Pitman at this time. There are two properties that are not able to be occupied by humans, although they have not been designated as condemned at this time. They are:
104 Second Ave.
203 Boulevard Ave.
5. The Borough of Pitman does not have a list of properties that are absentee-owned.
8. A list of properties with Code violations, including the type of violation is attached.
