Request for Vacant/Abandoned, Delinquent and Various Other Properties

Dear Palmyra Borough,

I appreciate your consideration of the following matter. Under OPRA and the Common Law Right of Access, I am requesting a current list of records for each of the following be delivered via e-mail:

1) All abandoned/vacant residential properties (Property Class 2)
2) All condemned properties
3) All residential properties with delinquent taxes
4) All residential properties for which a Lis Pendens notice has been filed or that are currently in probate
5) All properties that are absentee-owned
6) All properties with delinquent water and sewer which date back up to 1 year, including amounts owed
7) All properties currently listed with water shut-off notice
8) All properties with code violations, including the type of violation
9) All properties with notices of abatement

Hello Mr. Womack,

In response to OPRA Request 2020-110, you have received response to items #3 and #6 already from our Tax Collector Tanyika Johns.
In regards to #7 all that information must be obtained from New Jersey American Water Co., as they provide that service for properties located within the Borough of Palmyra.
In regards to #4 there are no residential properties for which a Lis Pendens notice has been filed or that are currently in probate.
In regards to the following #s : Mr. Mike Lunemann our Code Enforcement Officer; Vacant/Abandoned Property Coordinator has provided the below information and the attached list:
#1 List is attached
#2 No list exists
#5 No list exists
#8 & 9 There is no exact list but we currently have 5 properties that are in the process of abatement,
-300 Arch - Boarded windows on the 1st floor of residence.
-26 E Henry - Deteriorating Exterior Structure
-829 Morgan - Deteriorating Exterior Structure, Public Nuisance, Accumulation of Rubbish, Overgrowth of Weeds/grass
-403 W Broad - Public Nuisance, Uninhabitable Structure.
