Request for Vacant/Abandoned, Delinquent and Various Other Properties
Dear Florence Township,
I appreciate your consideration of the following matter. Under OPRA and the Common Law Right of Access, I am requesting a current list of records for each of the following be delivered via e-mail:
1) All abandoned/vacant residential properties (Property Class 2)
2) All condemned properties
3) All residential properties with delinquent taxes
4) All residential properties for which a Lis Pendens notice has been filed or that are currently in probate
5) All properties that are absentee-owned
6) All properties with delinquent water and sewer which date back up to 1 year, including amounts owed
7) All properties currently listed with water shut-off notice
8) All properties with code violations, including the type of violation
9) All properties with notices of abatement

We are in receipt of your Opra Request dated July 3, 2020. Please be
advised that due to the Governor’s declaration of a state of emergency and
the State and Township of Florence’s response to the Covid-19 public
health emergency, the Township has been forced to take certain personnel
actions that will affect its reasonable efforts to respond to government
records requests within the statutory 7 business day response date.
Pursuant to P.L. 2020 c. 10, the Township acknowledges receipt of your
request, and anticipates that it will need at least until 21 business days
from request date to reasonably respond to your request under current
operational constraints due to the current state of emergency.
As soon as the information is made available, I will forward it to you.
