I am writing to request an internal review of Hamilton (Mercer) Board of Education's handling of my OPRA request 'Request for the current number of employees in the bargaining unit and number of employees who have unions dues withheld from their paychecks'.
We have received no response to our OPRA request via OPRA Machine asking for the number of employees in the current NJEA bargaining unit and the number of employees currently having NJEA dues withheld from their paychecks.

I am writing to request an internal review of Hamilton (Mercer) Board of Education's handling of my OPRA request 'Request for the current number of employees in the bargaining unit and number of employees who have unions dues withheld from their paychecks'.
Your administrator claimed that she could not find a record of our OPRA request. We submitted our OPRA request via OPRA Machine. Surely she must be able to access OPRA Machine and see our request.
She also claimed that our request was for information, not government documents. But the information we requested is contained in government documents. This is a distinction without a difference. We have OPRA'd a dozen other school districts for this information and none of them have claimed this, and all have provided us with the information. Hamilton stands alone in refusing our request for these two numbers.
