Dear Brick Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

Dear Mr. Smith,
Your request included property of 99 Fairview Avenue (formerly 85 Fairview). However, it also requested "a copy of the email logs for the following Brick Township employees" which included only myself. I will forward that part of the request to our IT Department. However, I need a date range for the email logs.
Additionally, the OPRA statute allows 7 Business Days to respond to an OPRA request. Therefore the due date for the documents for the 99 Fairview will be 12/12/2024.
The time frame for the email logs will begin once clarification is given for the time frame (dates) of the email logs is provided.

No need for email logs that was typed as a misunderstanding of this process. I've never used "Opra Machine" before. I thought I was making an OPRA request from you specifically as my initial request had asked me to contact you personally. I then thought I was being asked to document my email time frames for my records. Complete misunderstanding with the logs but I appreciate you getting me the correct info.

The OPRAmachine is a 3rd party, private entity which to be honest, is a pain. It is not associated with Brick Township (or any government agency) at all and also gets stuck in our Spam often.

Under the Frequently Asked Questions is a section for OPRA and you can fill out the form right through the link in that and it gets electronically sent to us directly.
