Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

Dear Records Custodians,
Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (“OPRA”), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I respectfully request access to the following public records and statistical information related to the implementation of the 2021 standard driver’s license law and its connection to voter registration activity:
From the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC):
The total number of Standard (non–REAL ID) Driver’s Licenses issued from May 1, 2021, through the most recent available date, statewide and by county.
The number of license applicants who were presented with voter registration options during their transaction under the state’s “Motor Voter” procedures (per N.J.S.A. 19:31-6.11).
The number of those applicants whose voter registration applications were electronically transmittedfrom NJMVC to the Division of Elections.
From the Mercer County Board of Elections and County Clerk:
The number of voter registration applications received via the Motor Vehicle Commission since May 1, 2021, through the present, broken down by:
Year (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 to date), and
Municipality within Mercer County, if available.
Please also indicate, if possible, how many of those registrations were later deemed ineligible due to non-citizenship or other legal disqualification after review.

If possible, please provide the requested information in electronic form (Excel, CSV, or PDF) via email.
If there are fees associated with this request, please advise me in advance if the cost will exceed $25.00.
