Request for EMS Response Data – West Windsor Township
Dear West Windsor Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Dear Municipal Clerk,
Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I am respectfully submitting this request for the following public records in both electronic PDF and Excel formats:
1. EMS Response Data for West Windsor Township
I am requesting all records related to EMS responses within West Windsor Township from January 1, 2019 - 8/31/2024. The requested data should include, but not be limited to, the following fields:
Incident Date and Time
Response Times (Dispatch to Arrival)
EMS Unit Dispatched
Incident Location (cross streets or nearest landmarks)
Nature of the Call (e.g., medical, trauma, cardiac, etc.)
Outcome of the Call (transported, treated on scene, no action required, etc.)
Destination Hospital (if transported)
Any mutual aid provided or requested
2. Data Format
Please provide the records in two formats:
PDF: A complete record of the EMS response data in PDF format for ease of reference.
Excel: A copy of the data in Excel format to allow for sorting and analysis.
If producing the records in the requested formats exceeds the system limitations or is not feasible, please provide the records in the closest format available within your system capabilities. We are not requesting you to create new records or reproduce data beyond what is already maintained within your system. The CentralSquare CAD system used by the West Windsor Police Department allows for the generation and export of detailed reports in both PDF and Excel formats.
If any portion of this request is exempt from disclosure or if redactions are necessary, please provide the legally mandated reason for such exemption or redaction and release the remaining non-exempt portions of the record.
Please provide the records electronically. Please contact me if you require any clarification regarding this request. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your prompt response as required by law.
