The Township of North Bergen writes in response to your August 8, 2024 correspondence inquiring into the status of a response for an earlier-submitted OPRA request. Please be advised that the Township did not receive your e-mailed July 17, 2024 OPRA request sent via OPRA Machine, and was only aware of its existence by following the link provided in your email of August 8, 2024.

You requested the following information:

1. Current contract (2024-2027) between PBA 18 and the Township of North Bergen.

2. Current contract (2024-2027) between PBA 18A and the Township of North Bergen.

Please find two attachments in response to your request.

As with any OPRA request, you have the right to challenge the decision by the Township. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government records Council (“GRC”) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form. You may contact the GRC by toll-free telephone at 866-850-0511, by mail at PO Box 819, Trenton, NJ 08625, by e-mail at [email address], or at their web site at www.state.nj.us/grc. The Council can also answer other questions about the law. All questions regarding complaints filed in Superior Court should be directed to the Court Clerk in Hudson County.
