Your OPRA request was received by this office on 08/11/2021 and is
currently being processed.
Thank you,
Good afternoon:
There are no documents responsive to your request. However, as Public
Safety Director the emergency equipment installed in the Mayor's vehicle
and used by him is pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:1-1 (Authorized emergency
vehicles) and N.J.A.C. 13:24-2.1 and 2.2. Therefore no authorization is
needed from the MVC.
Thank you
Monica Orlando

Dear Monica Orlando,
Thank you for your response. Your response is understood to state that this vehicle is not a dispatchable asset and that it has no department affiliation (police, fire, EMS, OEM or otherwise) beyond the Mayor's appointed role of Public Safety Director. If you feel this understanding to be incorrect, please offer further clarification. Should no further response be received, it will be understood that this response is correct.
Yours sincerely,
E.M. Smith
