Good Afternoon:
I'm in receipt of your Open Public Records Act request dated 11/18/20. I
will not be in the office starting today through November 30th. Under the
Open Public Records Act the custodian of records is to respond to OPRA
requests within 7 business days of receipt of a request. Under this
request my response would be due on December 1st, 2020 ( Our office is
closed on November 26th and November 27th for the Thanksgiving Holiday). I
would like to request an extension of an additional 7 business days to
respond to your OPRA request and provide this information to you
by December 10th. This would give my staff enough time to collect the
information in my absence and to review the data that was requested.
