Request for BWC
Dear Stafford Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I respectfully request access to government records maintained by the Stafford Township Police Department.
Specifically, I request body-worn camera (BWC) footage and related records for any Stafford Township police officers who worked the “Power in the Pines Air Show” overtime assignment on May 17, 2025, during the hours of 04:30 to 19:30.
For this request, please provide:
1. All BWC footage recorded by the involved officers during the time period and assignment.
2. A list of each officer assigned to this detail from Stafford Township who recorded BWC footage.
3. The name(s) of any officer who worked the assignment but did not activate or utilize their BWC, and the reason why.
4. The total number of BWC video files per officer.
5. The total file size of all BWC footage per officer.
If the requested records are maintained in electronic format, I prefer to receive them electronically via a download link or other reasonable digital method.
If any portion of this request is denied, please provide the specific legal basis for the denial, including the statutory citation, and release any reasonably segregable portions of responsive records.
If fulfilling this request will require a special service charge due to the volume, format, or extent of the request, please advise me of the estimated cost in advance before processing.
