Request for Bodycam footage(FOIA)
Dear Atlantic City,
Under the authority granted by the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.), I am formally requesting the release of the below-mentioned body-worn camera and dashcam footage pertaining to the specific incident outlined below:

1. Ofc J. Perez #985 = bodycam + dashcam (patrol unit)
2. Ofc S. Pettit #920 = bodycam
3. Sgt Charles Heintz #758 = bodycam
This request encompasses unedited footage from the above-mentioned officer's body-worn cameras and patrol vehicle dashcams involved in the referenced incident.
In compliance with the New Jersey OPRA, I expect a response to this request within seven business days as stipulated by state law. Failure to meet this deadline will result in my seeking judicial relief to enforce compliance under the statute.

Good morning:
Please be advised, the Atlantic City Police Department has provided 4
bodycam videos in response to the attached OPRA request. Out of the 4
videos, one of them is from inside a medical facility. Accordingly, that
particular video is denied for privacy concerns. See N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1.
A public agency has a responsibility and an obligation to safeguard from
public access a citizen's personal information with which it has been
entrusted when disclosure thereof would violate the citizen's reasonable
expectation of privacy. See Burnett v. Cnty. of Bergen, 198 N.J. 408
(2009).
