Request for Bodycam Footage - Peter Cucko
Dear Law Enforcement Records Custodian,
I am writing to request access to body camera and surveillance footage related to an incident involving Peter Cucko which occurred on or around 4/19/2025. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the incident, I am requesting access to all available body cameras, including but not limited to the initial encounter, the arrest process, and any subsequent interactions. Accompanying the footage, I am also requesting a copy of the case report to provide context and background information on the incident.
Please see the following incident details:
Date of Incident: 4/19/2025
Location: Super Supermarket located at 408 Haledon Ave
Incident Description: Lewdness, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:14-4B(1), a fourth-degree crime
Given the seriousness of the incident, I kindly request all available records available as mentioned above.
Please process this request in accordance with applicable state and federal laws and consider it under the principles of open government and the public's right to access information. I kindly request that the requested body camera, as well as the case report, be provided electronically via email or a secure file-sharing platform if possible.
If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me prior to fulfilling this request. Any and all fees exceeding that of $150.00 can be automatically withdrawn. The disclosure of the information I seek is not primarily in my commercial interest but is likely to contribute significantly to public understanding of the operations or activities of the government, making the disclosure a matter of public interest.
