Request for Body Cam Footage
Dear Lacey Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A‑1 et seq., and the Body-Worn Camera Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:14‑118.5, I respectfully request the following:
All body-worn camera footage recorded by Lacey Township Police Department officers related to the multiple incidents reported by Richard DiPaolo and/or Lisa DiPaolo.

Your request indicates that you would like to receive
Body Worn Camera footage (BWC). Please be advised that
this will incur a minimum fee of $3.00 plus postage for
the USB/Flash Drive. There could potentially be an
additional fee for a special service charge.
Please confirm the $3.00 deposit and forward the same
to us immediately. By confirming the deposit, you
accept that the Township will not perform any work
related to this request until payment is received and
upon receipt, the record will be produced in your
requested format within seven (7) business days.
If a special service charge is incurred, you will have
the opportunity to accept or deny those fees at a later
date.
If we do not receive a response within 7 business days
of this message we will not complete BWC portion of
this request.

required to fulfill this OPRA request please see the
attached Notice of Special Service Charge. As noted in
the document kindly respond in writing with your
acceptance or rejection of this estimated charge. We
will not begin to process this request until we receive
your written acceptance and 50% of the required fee.
If we do not receive your written acceptance and 50% of
the required fee within 7 business days of this message
we will not complete this portion of this request.
Payment can be made via cash or check. A check can be
made out to Lacey Township. You can bring your payment
to the Clerk's Office or mail it to the address below.
An additional fee of $3 (for the cost of a CD or
USB/Flash Drive and an additional fee of $4.75 (for
postage if needed) will be incurred.
If we do not receive written acceptance of the Special
Service Charge by end of business on 07/18/2025, we
will not process the body worn camera portion of this
request.
