Request for Approval Related to Light Pole
Dear Fairfield Township (Essex),
I am counsel for Defendant, County of Essex, in the matter of Anthony G. Lanno v. Public Service Electric and Gas Co., et als., ESX-L-0951-20.
I am writing to request copies of any Fairfield Township Council resolution or ordinance approving, or granting permission for, the installation of a utility pole by PSE&G near the sidewalk of 300 Fairfield Road (CR-615).
The utility pole at-issue is located on the south side of Fairfield Road, and is further located approximately across the street from Woodland Road and labeled 62936 FF

Thank you so much for the response. However, I work for the County. Therefore, I am aware that Fairfield Road is a County road (CR-615). The County is solely responsible for the roadway between the curb lines, however; matters such as street lighting and paving of the sidewalk would still remain the duty of the municipality, even next to a County road.
So my request regarding the utility pole still remains the same. However, if after a search, there are no responsive Fairfield government documents related to my OPRA request, a response that there are no responsive Fairfield government documents is fine.
