Reports and bodycam footage
Dear Red Bank Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Police reports and bodycam footage for any incidents or police activity from 55 West Front Street Apartment #202 from 1/2024 to present.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Good afternoon,
Your OPRA request was received on 11/17/2025 and inputted into our OPRA
Portal called NextRequest. An email should have been sent from the portal
to your OPRA machine email that was provided
([OPRA #83503 email]). The OPRA portal
helps maintain our OPRA's and makes sure they are fulfilled in the correct
amount of time. You can also view any and all responsive documents.
Your OPRA number for this request is 25-1167. It was fulfilled on November
21, 2025, and closed. The response to your OPRA from the Police Department
was no responsive records for 55 West Front Street Apartment #202 from
1/2024 to present.
I encourage you to utilize the NextRequest portal that is on our website
under the clerk's page, so that this does not happen again. You do not
have to use it, just indicate on your OPRA request how you would like to
receive the response from your OPRA'S.

Good morning,
I am not sure why it won't let you create an account. Like I said, you do
not have to use NextRequest. You can still use the OPRAmachine or email
me the OPRA form; I will attach that if you choose to do that. For this
particular OPRA #25-1167 there are no responsive documents, so there
wouldn't be anything to see anyway.
Please know that whichever way you choose to request an OPRA, I still need
to input it into the NextRequest portal, that is how we maintain and track
all OPRAS. I will make a note that you can't access the portal, and I
will arrange to email you any responsive documents in the future.
