Repealed Code provisions
Please accept this as my request for government records under both OPRA and the common law right of access. Thank you very much for your commitment to transparent government.
BACKGROUND:
On February 3, 2011, the Township Council passed Ordinance No. 02-11 that repealed Code §§ 28-4, 28-41, 28-42, and 28-43. The Township Council took this action in response to my request, in my capacity of Chairman of the New Jersey Libertarian Party's Preempted Ordinance Repeal Project. Unfortunately, I did not retain a copy of the repealed §§ 28-4, 28-41, 28-42, and 28-43 in my files.
RECORDS REQUESTED:
1. If the Township still retains copies of §§ 28-4, 28-41, 28-42, and 28-43 as they existed immediately prior to their repeal, that would satisfy my request.
2. If no records are responsive to No. 1 above, I would like copies of R.O. 1979, § 18-5 and §§ 18-19—18-21.
Good morning,
Township Clerk, Donna Luciani, forwarded your OPRA request to me. I will
begin the process to obtain the records.
