Your OPRA request that was sent to the Hudson County Clerk’s Office was
forward to the Office of the Hudson County Superintendent of Elections to
be processed.  Below is the breakdown of your request, followed by my
findings:

Records requested: Registered Voter list of all voters in Hudson County,
regardless of any criteria, status, etc., including all data that can be
legally disclosed about each voter.

Your OPRA can not be processed due to how vague the request is;
particularly the request for “ALL DATA THAT CAN BE LEGALLY DISCLOSED ABOUT
EACH VOTER”.  Once again due to the vague request to the amount/type of
data and due to the population size of Hudson County; this OPRA request
can not be process unless you can be more specific about what data you’re
inquiring about.  For example:  All residence addresses for each voter, or
all the registration date for each voter, etc.

The report only provides the voter's current residence address (which are columns "F-J") and the voter's current mailing address (if the voter provided such information, and it will be in columns "K-Q").

(E) POLITICAL PARTY AFFILIATION, IF ANY
When you open the file, column "V" will provide this information. I have attached to this e-mail a PDF file labeled "ALL_CODES". This PDF will decode the abbreviations used for political party affiliation.

(F) DISTRICT, WARD, AND MUNICIPALITY
When you open the file, columns "R-T" will provide this information

(G) VOTING HISTORY (INCLUDING PRIMARIES AND GENERAL ELECTIONS)
In the beginning of 2020, the state of New Jersey upgraded to a new Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS). The previous SVRS was able to generate a voter registration list that can provide all the elections that a voter voted in; however the new SVRS that we are currently using can not generate such reports. Since this information can not be generated, therefore this information can not be provided.

(H) DATE OF REGISTRATION
When you open the file, column "X" will provide this information

(I) SOURCE OF REGISTRATION IF KNOWN
When you open the file, column "AB" will provide this information

(J) STATUS (SUCH AS IF PURGED FROM THE VOTER ROLL OR STILL ACTIVE)
When you open the file, column "W" will provide this information. I have attached to this e-mail a PDF file labeled "ALL_CODES". This PDF will decode the abbreviations used for voter status.

(K) REASON FOR BEING PURGED, IF PURGED (SUCH AS DEATH, CONVICTION FOR A DISENFRANCHISING CRIME, ETC)
When you open the file, column "AA" will provide you the rejection reason for the voter. The rejection reason have several abbreviations (RCC-rejected criminal conviction, RNA-rejected not 17 years of age, RNF-rejected non-registered felon). Column "Z" will provide you incomplete reason for the voter. The incomplete reason have several abbreviation (IFC-incomplete failure to check off U.S. Citizen, INS-incomplete for no signature, IND-incomplete for no date of birth).

(L) ANY UNIQUE ID ASSIGNED TO EACH VOTER RECORD BY THE BOARD OF ELECTIONS, OFFICE OF THE HUDSON COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF ELECTIONS, OR THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY
When you open the file, column "A" will provide this information. Each voter has their unique Voter ID number which the State, the Board of Elections, the Superintendent of Elections, and the County Clerks use to look up voters in the Statewide Voter Registration System (SVRS).
