Dear Cumberland County,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. There was no obvious way to make this request directly of the Sheriff's office, so I hope your office can direct me, or provide records.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Any publicly available information about bids or bidding information for Sheriff sale #24000638, 355 SHEPPARDS MILL ROAD HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP NJ 08302 for the time period of July 1, 2024 to January 1, 2025. With bids only being monthly, I do not believe this extended range of time to be burdensome, since there have only been five events.

Dear Cumberland County NJ Public Records Custodian,
I am submitting this Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request to obtain access to bid records associated with the sheriff’s sale of the property solely for the purpose of estimating the funds necessary for an upcoming sheriff’s sale in which I have an interest.
I understand that OPRA prohibits the use of disclosed records for commercial purposes or purposes outside the scope of the stated intent. As such, I certify that the requested records will not be used for solicitation or profit but will be reviewed strictly for informational purposes.
The property in question has had its sale adjourned several times, and I am requesting bid-related information to better understand if these delays are due to:
1. A lack of bids, or
2. Bids submitted below the upset price.
This request is submitted in good faith, with the understanding that access to these records is limited by any applicable legal exemptions or privacy restrictions. Should you require further clarification, I am happy to provide additional details or adjust my request accordingly.
