Records Relating to Alleged Criminal Violations and Official Misconduct Involving Prosecutor Robert C. La Salle
Dear North Haledon Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I request copies of the following records relating to my visit to the North Haledon Police Department and/or Municipal Court on July 28, 2026, approximately 4:38 p.m., for the purpose of filing a complaint involving Municipal Prosecutor Robert C. La Salle:
1. Any police incident report, complaint report, investigation report, or other police report.
2. Any CAD report, CAD event history, call-for-service report, dispatch log, or event history.
3. Any supplemental or follow-up reports.
4. Any officer’s notes, field notes, handwritten notes, notebook entries, or other contemporaneous notes maintained as government records.
5. Any body-worn camera recordings.
6. Any in-car camera recordings, security camera footage, or other video recordings.
7. Any photographs taken in connection with the matter.
8. Any records identifying the officers, supervisors, dispatchers, or employees who responded to or documented the matter.
If any responsive records are withheld, please identify each withheld record and state the specific statutory basis for the denial. If portions of responsive records are exempt, please produce the non-exempt portions with appropriate redactions.
God Bless,
Andrew Coletta
