Records of Grants and Funding for Food Assistance and Community Health Programs in Cumberland County (2020–Present)

Dear New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act and the common law right of access, I request copies of records maintained by your agency relating to grants, funding, or financial assistance awarded to nonprofit organizations or community programs in Cumberland County, New Jersey from January 1, 2020 to the present.

Specifically, I request records showing:

Grants or funding awarded to nonprofit organizations providing food assistance, food pantries, food distribution programs, or hunger relief services.

Grants or funding awarded to nonprofit organizations providing community health outreach services, including blood pressure monitoring, medication management, health screenings, or chronic disease prevention.

Records identifying recipient organizations, funding amounts, program descriptions, and award dates for such grants or programs.

If available, please provide these records in electronic format. If any portion of the requested records is exempt from disclosure, please provide the non-exempt portions and cite the statutory basis for any redactions or withholding.
