I write in response to your request for: “all disciplinary records as per
the recent attorney general guidelines for Sheriff Supervisor D.
Szczesny.  Including a synopsis of said charges. For years 2021, 2022,
2023.”

Under OPRA, “personnel records” are generally exempt and may only be
disclosed if the records sought fit within one of the statutory exceptions
set forth in N.J.S.A. 47:1A–10. Wolosky v. Borough of Washington, No.
A-4884-15T3, 2017 WL 5507958, at *2 (N App. Div. 2017).

Specifically, records that can be produced include “an individual's name,
title, position, salary, payroll record, length of service, date of
separation and the reason therefor, and the amount and type of any pension
received shall be a government record” and “educational or medical
qualifications required for government employment or for receipt of a
public pension, but not including any detailed medical or psychological
information, shall be a government record.” N.J.S.A. 47:1A–10.

Disciplinary records are generally exempt under the personnel records
exemption. However, to the extent your request seeks reports of major
discipline that would be published pursuant to AG Directive No. 2022-14
for the years 2021, 2022, 2023. there are no records responsive.
